The contract, in plain language.

We collect the information you give us to run your business on Jobworks: your name, email, phone number, business name, your customers' names and contact details, and the jobs, quotes, invoices, and payment records you create.

We collect it for one reason: to run the software. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not rent it to anyone. We do not use it to train other products.

Payment card numbers never pass through our systems. Card payments are handled by our payment processor, which is certified to industry security standards; we only receive the result and the last four digits of the card.

Where it lives. Your data is hosted on servers in the United States by our hosting provider. Our staff can access your data only to provide support or fix a problem, and only when your account requires it.

Export and deletion. You can export every record in your account — customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, reports — to CSV or Excel at any time, with one click, even on the day you cancel. You can also ask us to delete your data permanently, and we do it within 30 days of your request.

The subscription. Jobworks is billed at one flat price of $149 per month. The price covers unlimited customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, and users (technicians, office staff, owners) in your account. There are no per-user fees, no tiers, and no add-ons. Future price changes apply to new billing periods with at least 30 days' notice.

The trial. New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. When the trial ends, you decide: add a payment method and continue at $149 a month, or stop. If you stop, your account closes with nothing charged, because nothing was on file.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time, month to month. When you cancel, you keep access for the period you already paid for, and you can export your data at any time — including the day you cancel. There are no cancellation fees.

Your content. Everything you put into Jobworks — your price book, your customer list, your jobs and invoices — is yours. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the service for you. We never claim ownership of your data.

Acceptable use. Use Jobworks for lawful business. Don't use it to send spam, break the law, or abuse the people on the other end of your messages. We can suspend an account that is used to do harm; when we do, your data still exports.

The service. We work to keep Jobworks available and fast. We don't guarantee it will be error-free, and the service is provided "as is." Our total liability for any claim related to Jobworks is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Intellectual property. Jobworks software, design, and branding belong to Jobworks Software LLC. You don't have to use our name anywhere — that's the point — but the software itself is ours.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts of Orange County, Florida.

When your customers pay you through Jobworks, card payments are processed by our payment processor at the standard card network rates — about 2.9% plus the standard per-transaction fee, exactly what you'd pay with any card reader. Bank transfers (ACH) are 1%, flat.

We never take a cut of what you bill. Your $149 covers the software. Payments are not a revenue line for us — they're a cost we pass through at the processor's price.

Your subscription is charged monthly in advance to the payment method on file. Failed payments are retried; if a payment fails repeatedly, we'll contact you before anything changes, and your data remains exportable throughout.

Refunds. If you cancel, you keep the month you paid for — there's no prorated clawback and nothing extra is charged.
